The Regional Process Engineer drives operational process support across multiple seed facilities in their region. Support resource for long term capital planning and project identification. Key site support for process standardization and optimization efforts. Bayer is committed to a flexible hybrid working environment. This is a permanent position based out of Lethbridge, Alberta. What you will do: · Operational Support · Provide ongoing key process and operational support throughout the production season to assigned North America Row Crop region · Partner with site personnel, Automation, IT, and Global Engineering team to deliver the business · Process Improvement · Identify improvement opportunities by utilizing lean manufacturing tools including: VSM, A3, Process Mapping, etc. · Lead low to medium complexity process improvement projects · Process Standardization · Monitor, trend, and investigate process deviations · Create process standardization documentation: e.g. SOPs · Process Capital · Partner with site leadership team to develop long term capital plans based on constraints and equipment condition · Partner in site capital projects · Technical Expertise · Be an upcoming subject matter expert who shares knowledge within the organization · Collaborate with other Process Engineers to ensure strong network and alignment between sites Who you are: · B.S. or M.S. Agricultural Engineering, Ag Mechanization, Mechanical Engineering or comparable Agricultural Technology or Engineering degree
· 3+ years of manufacturing experience Good Analytical and problem solving (decision making) skills
· Collaborative team player capable of working well with people across all hierarchies internally and externally
· Good organizational and presentation skills
· Good interpersonal skills such as communication, listening, verbal and assertiveness
