Predictive Maintenance Technician
Make mechanical modification of systems as directed to facilitate sampling and filtration, and other proactive improvements.
Schedule, collect, label and ship samples with requisite details, for analysis.
Complete lubrication reports based on applicable OSW (Operator Standard Work) and SOP (Standard Operation Procedures).Collecting equipment vibration data in the field.Operating forklifts, scissor lifts, and aerial work platformsOperating standard maintenance tools such as power tools, basic hand tools, pneumatic tools, electric tools, as well as lifting/rigging equipment.Troubleshoot common lubrication-related procedural and equipment problemsOther duties as required.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada.Must be 18 years or older.Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written).Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation.Must be able to ascend and descend stairs, ladders, etc., to work in elevated areas of the plant, and must be able to work in confined spaces. Basic use of a computer, including data entry.Must be able to work independently without supervision to prioritize and complete scheduled tasks.Preferred QualificationsHigh school diploma/GEDTwo (2) years’ experience in the mechanical industry.
